I'm Thankful for You (My 40k+ Connections)!

I made a mistake on one of my posts recently. I got going too fast, and at first I was super bummed because I couldn’t fix it without deleting the whole thing. It felt like a big catastrophe at the moment.

But then an old friend and colleague reached out to tell me about it. When I explained what happened, he said, “No worries, just wanted to let you know. I always love your posts. Keep up the good work!”

That absolutely made my day, and my mistake turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was so honored to realize that this colleague of mine, someone I haven’t spoken to in nearly 10 years, has been reading my posts all along. It really made me reflect on how lucky I am. I started my business 10 years ago with just over 1,000 connections.

Now I have over 40,000 connections, and almost every job I book as a speaker or trainer comes from LinkedIn. I’m incredibly grateful for this community and to every single one of you who has ever read a post, commented, liked something I shared, or even just enjoyed it quietly from afar.

I’m thankful for each and every customer and potential customer I’ve met here. Thank you so much for your business and your trust.

Lastly, I’m grateful this week to be able to celebrate the history of this amazing country we live in and all the blessings we have. Happy Thanksgiving to ALL! 🦃 🍗 🎉
